Terms
Draft — not yet reviewed by a lawyer. This describes honestly how the product works, but it isn’t a substitute for advice. Call recording and handling customers’ data on a restaurant’s behalf are regulated, and the rules vary by state. Have this reviewed before signing a paying customer.
Redial provides a phone-answering assistant and an ordering system for restaurants. These terms cover the restaurant using it, not the diners who order.
The trial
New restaurants get 30 days free with everything switched on. No card is needed to start, and nothing is charged when the trial ends — the AI simply stops taking orders until you subscribe.
What it costs
- $399 per month per restaurant, billed monthly in advance.
- Cancel any time. You keep everything until the end of the period you have already paid for.
- If a payment fails, the service keeps running while the card is retried. It stops only if the subscription is cancelled or written off.
The phone number
We buy a phone number on your behalf and it stays with your account while you subscribe. Your own existing number is never taken over — forwarding to us is a change you make with your carrier, and you can undo it at any time.
What the AI does, and what it can get wrong
The assistant reads back every order and asks the caller to confirm it before it is placed. It can only sell what is on your menu, at the prices you set. It will still occasionally mishear someone, exactly as a person would.
You are responsible for the food you serve and the orders you fulfil. Every call is transcribed and kept with the order, so a disputed order can be checked against what was actually said.
Your data
- Your menu, your orders and your customers’ details are yours.
- We hold them to run the service for you, and act on your instructions about them.
- You can ask for an export or a deletion at any time.
Fair use
Don’t use it to place orders you don’t intend to fulfil, to call people who haven’t contacted you, or in a way that breaks the rules your phone carrier or your local law imposes. Accounts doing that can be suspended.
Ending it
You can cancel from Settings whenever you like. We would only end an account for non-payment or for the misuse described above, and we would tell you first.
